Ingredients
- 1 3/4 cups brown sugar, lightly packed
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 6 tablespoons butter, softened
- 2 - eggs
- 2 cups flour, all purpose
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 5 - granny smith apples, cut in small cubes of equal size
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, lightly packed
- 1/2 cup whipping cream
- 1/2 cup sugar
How To Make carmel apple cake

Step 1Mix sugars, melted butter and eggs.

Step 2Add remaining dry ingredients. Dough will be thick, resembling a cookie batter.

Step 3Peel and chop apples and add to batter, stirring just until mixed.

Step 4Spread into a greased 9X13 pan. Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes.

Step 5Shortly before the cake is done baking add the remaining 4 Tbs butter, sugars and whipping cream to sauce pan on medium heat.Make sure to stir frequently until slightly thick.Becareful not to burn it.

Step 6Pour sauce over warm cake slices. Cake is best served warm.
