Carmel Apple Cake

1 3/4 cbrown sugar, lightly packed

3/4 csugar

6 Tbspbutter, softened

2 cflour, all purpose

5granny smith apples, cut in small cubes of equal size

4 Tbspbutter

1/2 cbrown sugar, lightly packed

1/2 cwhipping cream

1/2 csugar
How to Make Carmel Apple Cake
- Mix sugars, melted butter and eggs.
- Add remaining dry ingredients. Dough will be thick, resembling a cookie batter.
- Peel and chop apples and add to batter, stirring just until mixed.
- Spread into a greased 9X13 pan. Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes.
- Shortly before the cake is done baking add the remaining 4 Tbs butter, sugars and whipping cream to sauce pan on medium heat.Make sure to stir frequently until slightly thick.Becareful not to burn it.
- Pour sauce over warm cake slices. Cake is best served warm.
