Ingredients

  • 1/4 c
    butter, softened
  • 1/4 c
    brown sugar, packed
  • 1/8 tsp
    ground cinnamon
  • 6 slice
    angel food cake
  • ·
    ice cream, fresh berries, and/or whipped cream

How to Make Caramelized Angel Food Cake

Step-by-Step

  1. In a bowl, cream the butter, brown sugar and cinnamon until light and fluffy.
  2. Spread butter mixture over the top and sides of each cake slice.
  3. Place on an ungreased baking sheet. Broil 4-6 minutes from the heat for 1-2 minutes or until bubbly.
  4. Cool slightly. Serve with ice cream, berries and/or whipped cream.
