caramel pumpkin spice cake
I really enjoy the flavor of pumpkin pie spices so decided to come up with a cake using it. My husband said this is a keeper. I tried a piece while it was still warm before I frosted and it is as good without the frosting as it is with it. Would really be good with a cup of coffee. I also think it would be good to add chopped pecans in it.

- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup self rising flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 - eggs
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 stick butter, softened
- 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spices
- 1 1/2 tablespoons caramel coffee syrup
- CARAMEL PUMKIN PIE SPICE FROSTING
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 stick margarine, softened
- 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spices
- 1 teaspoon caramel syrup
- 2 cups confectioners' sugar
How To Make caramel pumpkin spice cake

Step 1Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease and flour loaf pan. Cream together butter and cream cheese, add sugar and beat well, add eggs, beat well, add both fours,mix, add pumpkin spice and caramel syrup, mix well. Pour into prepared loaf pan and bake 45 minutes or until toothpick come out clean.

Step 2Frosting: Cream margarine and cream cheese until smooth, add pumpkin spice mix, caramel syrup and confectioners sugar, mix well. Frost top and all sides of cake.
