I have made this cake for years and take it to church functions and just to enjoy at home. I'm not into sweets that much but I love this cake. Hope you enjoy it.

Blue Ribbon Recipe

Your whole family is going to love this pound cake! It's called a caramel pound cake because the brown sugar in the cake gives it a nice caramel flavor. Pecans baked into the cake give it a nice crunch. It can be served with powdered sugar or a nice scoop of vanilla ice cream. For presentation, we added a drizzle of store-bought caramel sauce and some additional pecans which was quite tasty.

Note: Some ovens cook faster. Ours was done at 1 hr 20 minutes so we suggest starting to checking around 1 hr 15 minutes. Test Kitchen Avatar The Test Kitchen
