  • 3/4 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/2 c
  • 1/2 c
    packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp
  • 2
  • 1/2 c
    salted cashews, chopped

  • 1/2 c
    salted cashews
  • 1/4 c
    packed brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter, melted
  • 4 1/2 tsp
    heavy whipping cream

How to Make Caramel Cashew Cake Bars


  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour,sugars,baking powder and salt. Beat in the eggs just until combined. Fold in the cashews.
  2. Spread into a 8inch square baking dish. Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes or until top springs back when touched.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the topping ingredients. Spread over cake. Broil for 1-2 minutes or until bubbly and a little brown. Cut into bars while the cake is warm. Cool completely.
