How to Make Caramel Apple Cake Balls

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In large bowl, combine cake mix, pudding, eggs, water and oil. Beat about 2 minutes. Pour into sprayed sheet cake pan and bake 30-35 min or until toothpick comes out clean.
  2. COOL CAKE COMPLETELY
In small bowl, combine icing with 1/4 cup Caramel. In large bowl, crumble cake with hands until you no longer have chunks. Add icing mixture to cake, add chopped apples and mix with hands until well coated. Form into balls, chill in fridge for at least 2 hours.
  3. When balls are chilled, melt candy, dip the cake balls, decorate and place on parchment paper. You may dip them in candy, then dip in more caramel, then into chopped peanuts if desired.
