I used MOUNDS for the candy bars because they are my fave. I am sure u can use any other candybar that u prefer.These brownies are very irrestible!

Ingredients For candy bar brownies

    1.9oz. chocolate-covered coconut candy bars
  • 1/2 c
    shortening
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1 c
    all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 c
    chopped nuts

How To Make candy bar brownies

    Heat oven to 350.Grease 9-inch square pan.In medium saucepan over low heat,melt candy bars and shortening,stirring occasionally until chocolate and shortening are melted.Add sugar and vanilla;blend well.Add eggs 1 at a time,beating well after each addition.Stir in flour,salt and nuts;mix well.Spread in greased pan.

    Bake for 25 to 35 minutes until top springs back when touched lightly in center.Cool completely;cut into bars.
