3Blend in butter and buttermilk.
Beat in eggs one at a time.
Stir in Vanilla. (yes that is 1 tablespoon)
Stir in boiling water.
4Pour into prepared pan(s), let rest for 5 minutes.
Bake for 45 minutes or until knife in center comes out clean.
Sprinkle generously with cinnamon and sugar while hot from oven.
Or pour caramel ice cream topping over cake while hot, (you won't need the entire jar).
