1 box(18 1/4oz.) french yellow cake mix
1/2 cvegetable oil
3eggs, slightly beaten
1/2 cbutterscotch pudding mix
1 cpowdered sugar
1 tspbutter or margarine,softeded
2 Tbspbutterscotch pudding mix
How to Make Butterscotch Cake
- mix cake, water, eggs, oil, and butterscotch mix with beaters. first at a low speed. stop mixer scrape bowl. turn mixer on to a medium speed for about 2 min. then shut off and scrape bowl. then turn on again on med. beat until nice and smooth.
- put into a budnt pan prepared with vegetable spay and floured. bake for 25 to 30 min. or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- to make icing: in a medium bowl add powdered sugar, softened butter, butterscotch mix. add milk a little at a time until you have an icing that will run down sides of cake. (but not too thin.)
