Ingredients

  • 1 box
    (18 1/4oz.) french yellow cake mix
  • 1 c
    water
  • 1/2 c
    vegetable oil
  • 3
    eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1/2 c
    butterscotch pudding mix
  • 1 c
    powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp
    butter or margarine,softeded
  • 2 Tbsp
    butterscotch pudding mix
  • ·
    milk

How to Make Butterscotch Cake

Step-by-Step

  1. mix cake, water, eggs, oil, and butterscotch mix with beaters. first at a low speed. stop mixer scrape bowl. turn mixer on to a medium speed for about 2 min. then shut off and scrape bowl. then turn on again on med. beat until nice and smooth.
  2. put into a budnt pan prepared with vegetable spay and floured. bake for 25 to 30 min. or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  3. to make icing: in a medium bowl add powdered sugar, softened butter, butterscotch mix. add milk a little at a time until you have an icing that will run down sides of cake. (but not too thin.)
