1/3 cbutter or butter flavored shortning
1 Tbspvanilla extract
1 1/2 cbuttermilk
2 tspbaking powder
How to Make Buttermilk Chess Cake
- Cream the butter with the sugar until smooth. Add in and beat the eggs. Add in Vanilla and buttermilk. Stir until smooth and consistent.
- Mix in the flour, cinnamon, salt, and baking powder.
- Pour into prepared pan. Bake at 350 for 50 minutes (I use a bundt pan) insert knife and make sure it comes out dry.
