  • 6
    butterfinger candy bars
  • 1
    angel food cake mix
  • 4
    egg yolks
  • 1 tsp
    almond flavoring
  • 2 c
    powdered sugar
  • 12 oz
    container of cool whip (thawed)

How to Make Butterfinger Cake

Step-by-Step

  1. Prepare Angel Food cake mix per directions on the box..let cool completely
  2. Crush candy bars and break cake into bite size pieces
  3. Mix together egg yolks, almond flavoring, powdered sugar and cool whip
  4. Layer in 9x13 inch pan: 1/2 of cake, 1/2 of cool whip mixture and 1/2 of crushed candy bars...repeat layers
  5. Refrigerate 2 to 3 hours or overnight
