Ingredients

  • 6 - butterfinger candy bars
  • 1 - angel food cake mix
  • 4 - egg yolks
  • 1 teaspoon almond flavoring
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 12 ounces container of cool whip (thawed)

How To Make butterfinger cake

  • Step 1
    Prepare Angel Food cake mix per directions on the box..let cool completely
  • Step 2
    Crush candy bars and break cake into bite size pieces
  • Step 3
    Mix together egg yolks, almond flavoring, powdered sugar and cool whip
  • Step 4
    Layer in 9x13 inch pan: 1/2 of cake, 1/2 of cool whip mixture and 1/2 of crushed candy bars...repeat layers
  • Step 5
    Refrigerate 2 to 3 hours or overnight
