Simple and perfect buttercream frosting

Add to Grocery List

  • ·
    1 cup of butter at room temp
  • ·
    3 cups of powdered sugar (you can add more for more sweeter thicker frosting)
  • ·
    1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • ·
    1/2 tablespoon of vanilla
  • ·
    4 tablespoons of heavy cream

How to Make Buttercream Frosting


  1. In a large bowl, beat the butter until light and fluffy.
  2. Add sugar, salt, and vanilla and beat until well combined, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add cream, one Tablespoon at a time along with additional cups of sugar until desired consistency and taste is reached.
  4. Add food coloring for desired color
