Simple and perfect buttercream frosting

1 cup of butter at room temp
3 cups of powdered sugar (you can add more for more sweeter thicker frosting)
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/2 tablespoon of vanilla
4 tablespoons of heavy cream

How to Make Buttercream Frosting


  • 1In a large bowl, beat the butter until light and fluffy.
  • 2Add sugar, salt, and vanilla and beat until well combined, about 3-4 minutes.
  • 3Add cream, one Tablespoon at a time along with additional cups of sugar until desired consistency and taste is reached.
  • 4Add food coloring for desired color
