Ingredients
- 3 cups all purpose flour, sifted
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 sticks butter, unsalted, room temperature
- 1 teaspoon rum extract
- 2 teaspoons butter flavoring
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 6 large eggs
- 3 cups sugar
How To Make butter pecan pound cake

Step 1Preheat oven to 325*. Grease 12-cup Bundt pan; set aside.

Step 2In medium bowl sift dry ingredients together; set aside.

Step 3In large bowl cream butter and sugar on high speed until light and fluffy. Add in eggs one at a time mixing on low. Add in flavorings & milk, mix until combined.

Step 4Slowly add dry ingredients mixing on med. high until well combined. Lastly, fold in pecans.

Step 5Pour batter into greased pan. Bake for 1 hr. 10 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
