Ingredients

1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
3/4 cup sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
3/4 cup milk
1/3 cup shortening
1 - egg
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla

How To Make busy day cake

Step 1

Grease and lightly flour a 9x9x2 inch baking pan.

Step 2

In a small mixer bowl combine all ingredients and 1/4 teaspoon salt.
Step 3

Beat with electric mixer till combined. Beat 2 minutes on medium speed.
Step 4

Turn into pan. Bake in a 375 degree oven 25 to 30 minutes or till done.
Step 5

Cool. Serves 9!
