Ingredients
- 2 ounces unsweetened chocolate
- 1/4 pound unsalted butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 - eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup walnuts, coarsely chopped

Step 1Preheat the oven to 325 degrees.

Step 2Butter an 8-inch square baking pan.

Step 3In a heavy saucepan, melt the chocolate with the butter over low heat, stirring until completely melted.

Step 4Remove from the heat and stir in the sugar.

Step 5Add the eggs and vanilla and beat.

Step 6Stir in the flour, salt and walnuts and mix well.

Step 7Spoon the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 40 minutes.

Step 8Cool and cut into squares.
