- 1Preheat the oven to 325 degrees.
- 2Butter an 8-inch square baking pan.
- 3In a heavy saucepan, melt the chocolate with the butter over low heat, stirring until completely melted.
- 4Remove from the heat and stir in the sugar.
- 5Add the eggs and vanilla and beat.
- 6Stir in the flour, salt and walnuts and mix well.
- 7Spoon the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 40 minutes.
- 8Cool and cut into squares.
