brownie swirl cheesecake
This cheesecake is my "go to" recipe whenever I need a fast dessert. I always keep 2 packges of cream cheese and a box of brownie mix on hand. I made this for one of the groups I am a member of, and it won "Tasters Choice". I know my husband Rick will be very upset that I didn't make this entire cheesecake for him!!!! Go figure-it's his favorite! PLEASE NOTE; The brownie layer tends to erupt into the cheesecake layer and you end up with marvelous chunks of chocolate in the cake!

Ingredients
- 1 package brownie mix (8 oz size)
- 2 packages cream cheese (8 oz. each package), softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 - eggs
- 1 cup milk chocolate pieces, melted
How To Make brownie swirl cheesecake
-
Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a 10 inch springform pan
-
Step 2Prepare basic brownie mix as directed. Pour into the greased springform pan and bake 20 minutes (do not worry if it isnt done)
-
Step 3In mixer bowl beat cream cheese until fluffy, then add sugar and vanilla and beat at medium speed until well blended. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Pour this mixture over the warm brownie layer you made.
-
Step 4Spoon melted chocolate in clumps over cream cheese mix. Using a knife, swirl the chocolate for a marble-like effect. Bake 35-40 minutes or until "set". Loosen cake from rib of springform pan and then cool before removing rim. Chill. You can garnish with whip cream and/or cherries but it is so delicious, you won't do that!
