When just a bite or two is enough!! These cookies taste just like a brownie. You don't have to put frosting on them but it adds just a little extra. Side note- You can subsitute 1 1/2 cups of cocoa with 3 tablespoons of shortening for the pre melted chocolate.

Ingredients

  • 3 1/3 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups corn syrup, light
  • 2 - eggs
  • 6-1 ounces pre-melted unsweetend chocolate
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped walnuts
  • 1 can chocolate frosting

How To Make brownie bites

  • Step 1
    Grease cookie sheets or line with parchment paper
  • Step 2
    Sift together flour, baking powder and salt, set aside.
  • Step 3
    Beat together sugar & butter until creamy.
  • Step 4
    Add corn syrup and eggs. Mix well.
  • Step 5
    Stir in flour, mix well
  • Step 6
    Add chocolate, vanilla and nuts. Mix well.
  • Step 7
    Drop by heaping teaspoons onto prepared cookie sheets.
  • Step 8
    Bake in 350' oven for 10 to 12 minutes.
  • Step 9
    Put chocolate frosting in pastry bag or freezer bag with a small cut in corner. Place a dollop of frosting on top of cookie.
