When just a bite or two is enough!! These cookies taste just like a brownie. You don't have to put frosting on them but it adds just a little extra.

Side note- You can subsitute 1 1/2 cups of cocoa with 3 tablespoons of shortening for the pre melted chocolate.

Ingredients

  • 3 1/3 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/3 c
    butter, softened
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1 1/2 c
    corn syrup, light
  • 2
    eggs
  • 6-1 oz
    pre-melted unsweetend chocolate
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 c
    chopped walnuts
  • 1 can(s)
    chocolate frosting

How to Make Brownie Bites

Step-by-Step

  1. Grease cookie sheets or line with parchment paper
  2. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt, set aside.
  3. Beat together sugar & butter until creamy.
  4. Add corn syrup and eggs. Mix well.
  5. Stir in flour, mix well
  6. Add chocolate, vanilla and nuts. Mix well.
  7. Drop by heaping teaspoons onto prepared cookie sheets.
  8. Bake in 350' oven for 10 to 12 minutes.
  9. Put chocolate frosting in pastry bag or freezer bag with a small cut in corner. Place a dollop of frosting on top of cookie.
