brownie bites
When just a bite or two is enough!! These cookies taste just like a brownie. You don't have to put frosting on them but it adds just a little extra. Side note- You can subsitute 1 1/2 cups of cocoa with 3 tablespoons of shortening for the pre melted chocolate.

Ingredients
- 3 1/3 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 cups corn syrup, light
- 2 - eggs
- 6-1 ounces pre-melted unsweetend chocolate
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups chopped walnuts
- 1 can chocolate frosting
How To Make brownie bites

Step 1Grease cookie sheets or line with parchment paper

Step 2Sift together flour, baking powder and salt, set aside.

Step 3Beat together sugar & butter until creamy.

Step 4Add corn syrup and eggs. Mix well.

Step 5Stir in flour, mix well

Step 6Add chocolate, vanilla and nuts. Mix well.

Step 7Drop by heaping teaspoons onto prepared cookie sheets.

Step 8Bake in 350' oven for 10 to 12 minutes.

Step 9Put chocolate frosting in pastry bag or freezer bag with a small cut in corner. Place a dollop of frosting on top of cookie.
