walnuts, coarsely chopped
1/2 jar(s)
maraschino cherries, chopped

How to Make Boston Cream Loaf

Step-by-Step

  • 1Boil sugar, cream and syrup together to medium soft-ball stage.
  • 2Set aside to cool for 10 minutes.
  • 3Beat, add walnuts and cherries.
  • 4Beat until stiff; pour into 2 buttered 8 inch square pans.
  • 5Cool in refrigerator.
  • 6Cut into small squares.
  • 7Makes 2 to 3 dozen squares.
