Ingredients

  • 3.5 cups sugar
  • 1.5 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup baker's chocolate, semi sweet squares
  • 3/4 cup walnuts, coarsely chopped
  • 1/2 jar maraschino cherries, chopped

How To Make boston cream loaf

  • Step 1
    Boil sugar, cream and syrup together to medium soft-ball stage.
  • Step 2
    Set aside to cool for 10 minutes.
  • Step 3
    Beat, add walnuts and cherries.
  • Step 4
    Beat until stiff; pour into 2 buttered 8 inch square pans.
  • Step 5
    Cool in refrigerator.
  • Step 6
    Cut into small squares.
  • Step 7
    Makes 2 to 3 dozen squares.
