Ingredients
- 2 packages cream cheese, 8 oz. each, at room temperature
- ¼ cup melted butter
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
How To Make bonnie's lemon cream cheese icing

Step 1I use Philadelphia Cream Cheese brand in this recipe.

Step 2In a small mixing bowl and using a hand mixer, beat the two 8 ounce packages of cream cheese until fluffy. (You can use the paddle on the KitchenAid, but I find the hand mixer to be easier.)

Step 3Beat in the melted butter.

Step 4Beat in 2 cups powdered sugar.

Step 5Beat in the lemon juice.

Step 6This recipe makes enough icing to cover a 9 X 13 cake. Refrigerate. Enjoy!
