Found this recipe in the Birmingham News paper and made this cake Saturday, and it is absolutely my favorite chocolate cake. Not only was it just super moist, it was one of the easiest cakes i'v ever made, and the frosting is so good! I know you will love this cake. Try it soon!

Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup hershey's cocoa
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 - eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup boiling water
How To Make bob sykes "perfectly chocolate" chocolate cake

Step 1Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour two 9" round cake pans. ( I used 9x13 pan.)

Step 2Stir together sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt in mixer bowl.

Step 3Add eggs, milk, oil and vanilla; beat on medium speed of mixer 2 minutes.

Step 4Stir in boiling water(batter will be thin).

Step 5Pour batter into prepared pans.

Step 6Bake 30-35 minutes or until wooden toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes. Frost.

Step 81 stick (1/2 cup) butter or margarine(melted)

Step 92/3 cup hershey's cocoa

Step 103 cups powdered sugar

Step 111/3 cup milk

Step 121 teaspoon vanilla extract

Step 13Add melted butter to mixer bowl, stir in cocoa. Alternately add powdered sugar and milk, beating to spreading consistency.

Step 14Add small amount of additional milk , if needed.

Step 15Stir in vanilla.
