Ingredients

3 cups fresh blueberries
1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
3/4 cup sugar
1 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch
3 tablespoons butter
1 box yellow cake mix (use instructions on box to prepare)

How To Make blueberry upside down cake

Step 1

Spread berries evenly in bottom of 9 x 13 inch greased cake pan. Sprinkle with lemon juice.

Step 2

Combine sugar and cornstarch and pour over berries. Dot with butter and top with prepared cake batter.
Step 3

Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until done. Invert pan before cake gets cool. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream.
