A friend gave me this recipe years ago. It is so easy and yummy. My kids and husband have always loved this; we eat it with vanilla bean ice cream.

No matter your level of baking, you can make this blueberry pineapple dump cake. It's one of the best dump cake recipes we've had. We loved the combination of blueberry and pineapple. The acidic pineapple is complemented by the sweet blueberry pie filling. Once baked, the buttery top is sweet and slightly crisp. A fantastic summer dessert with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream.

  • 1 can crushed pineapple with juice (20 oz)
  • 1 can blueberry pie filling (21 oz)
  • 1 box yellow cake mix (15.25 oz)
  • 12 tablespoons butter, cut into tiny squares
