A friend gave me this recipe years ago. It is so easy and yummy. My kids and husband have always loved this; we eat it with vanilla bean ice cream.

Ingredients

  • 1 can crushed pineapple with juice (20 oz)
  • 1 can blueberry pie filling (21 oz)
  • 1 box yellow cake mix (15.25 oz)
  • 12 tablespoons butter, cut into tiny squares

How To Make blueberry pineapple dump cake

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a glass 9 x 13 casserole with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Step 2
    Pour pineapple in the bottom and spread it around.
  • Step 3
    Pour in blueberry pie filling and spread around the bottom, mixing with the pineapple.
  • Step 4
    Sprinkle the dry cake mix over the top of the blueberries and pineapple evenly. Pat down with a spatula or hand. Do not stir.
  • Step 5
    Cut pats of butter and place on top of the cake mix. Do not stir.
  • Step 6
    Place in the oven and bake for 45 minutes.
  • Step 7
    When golden brown on top, pull out and serve warm with vanilla bean ice cream, half and half, or whipped cream. It's also good by itself.
