Ingredients
- CAKE:
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 - egg
- 2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries, no need to thaw, if frozen
- TOPPING:
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg (i use fresh, but use whatever is on hand)
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
How To Make blueberry coffeecake

Step 1Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Step 2In a bowl, blend together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, butter or margarine, milk and egg. Using an electric mixer, beat vigorously for 30 seconds. Carefully fold blueberries into batter. Pour into a greased 9-inch-square cake pan.

Step 3For topping, in a bowl combine sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg and butter; sprinkle over batter. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes, or until cake tests done.
