blondies
I found this recipe in a magazine while visiting relatives out of town. I made them this weekend and they are delicious and so easy to make. Nuts are optional but I put a cup of chopped pecans in them and I think they are very tasty. ENJOY!!!

Ingredients
- 3 - eggs, beaten
- 1 stick butter, melted
- 1 box light brown sugar (16 oz.) (2 1/4 cups)
- 2 cups self-rising flour
- 3/4 cup nuts, chopped (opt.)
How To Make blondies
-
Step 1350 degree oven - grease 9 x 13" pan; set aside. In mixing bowl, beat eggs. Add butter and brown sugar. Mix well. Slowly add flour; mix well. Add nuts, if desired. Pour into prepared baking pan.

Step 2Bake at 350 degrees for 25 - 30 minutes or until a wooden toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool slightly in pan on wire rack. Cut into bars while warm. (I sprinkled powdered sugar on them before cutting). I also used chopped pecans but you can use walnuts, if desired. They are also good without nuts. ENJOY!
