After much searching & a little tweaking, I came up with this. I'm very happy, these are buttery, rich, chewy, and sweet as anything. My favorite things to add are dried blueberries & white chocolate chips, although anything goes.

Ingredients

Add to Grocery List

2 c
all purpose flour
1 tsp
baking powder
1/4 tsp
baking soda
1 tsp
salt
2/3 c
dried blueberries
2/3 c
white chocolate chips
2/3 c
butter (10 2/3 tsp.)
2 c
packed brown sugar
2
beaten eggs
2 Tbsp
vanilla extract

How to Make Blondies

Step-by-Step

  • 1Preheat oven to 350. Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Blend well, set aside.
  • 2Melt butter, add brown sugar & mix well. Cool slightly. Add to beaten eggs and vanilla, blend well. Add flour mixture a little at a time, mixing well, then chips, berries or whatever you're adding. Spread in well greased 9x13 pan, bake for 35 min.
  • 3Cool, cut in squares & remove from pan.
