After much searching & a little tweaking, I came up with this. I'm very happy, these are buttery, rich, chewy, and sweet as anything. My favorite things to add are dried blueberries & white chocolate chips, although anything goes.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2/3 cup dried blueberries
  • 2/3 cup white chocolate chips
  • 2/3 cup butter (10 2/3 tsp.)
  • 2 cups packed brown sugar
  • 2 - beaten eggs
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla extract

How To Make blondies

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350. Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Blend well, set aside.
  • Step 2
    Melt butter, add brown sugar & mix well. Cool slightly. Add to beaten eggs and vanilla, blend well. Add flour mixture a little at a time, mixing well, then chips, berries or whatever you're adding. Spread in well greased 9x13 pan, bake for 35 min.
  • Step 3
    Cool, cut in squares & remove from pan.
