Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 4 - egg yolks, reserve whites
- 5 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 4 - egg whites stiffly beaten
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 cups almonds, sliced
- FILLING
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon corn starch, heaping
How To Make blintz torte

Step 1Beat together the butter, sugar and egg yolks. Add milk, vanilla, flour and baking powder. Mix well. Put in 2 pans as you would do for a layer cake. Add sugar to beaten egg whites. Spread this on the layers. Sprinkle with nuts and bake like layer cake for 30 to 35 minutes. In a 350 oven.
