Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon allspice, ground
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 2 - eggs
- 1 cup sour milk (use teaspoon of vinegar to make sour)
- 1 teaspoon soda (dissolved in milk)
- 1 cup berries or 8 ounces of blackberry jam
- 1/2 cup nuts (optional)
How To Make blackberry jam cake

Step 1Cream butter and sugar, add eggs, beat well. Add flour, spices, sift together and then alternate folding in milk, berries or jam, and nuts.

Step 2Bake 45 minutes in 350 oven.
