These brownies pack a little punch and a ton of chocolaty goodness. :)

Ingredients

  • 4 ounces unsweetened chocolate
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 3/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 - egg yolks, slightly beaten
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup kahlua
  • 2 tablespoons vodka
  • 1 1/3 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

How To Make black russian brownies

  • Step 1
    Line bottom of 13x9" baking pan with waxed paper.
  • Step 2
    Melt chocolate and butter with pepper in small saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat. Combine eggs, sugar and vanilla in large bowl; beat well. Stir in cooled chocolate mixture, Kahlua and vodka.
  • Step 3
    Combine flour, salt and baking powder; add to chocolate mixture and stir until blended. Add pecans.
  • Step 4
    Spread in prepared pan. Bake in 350 oven just until toothpick inserted in conter comes out clean, about 25 minutes.
  • Step 5
    DO NOT OVERBAKE.
  • Step 6
    Cool in pan on wire rack.
  • Step 7
    Cut into bars.
  • Step 8
    Sprinkle with powdered sugar, if desired. Makes about 30 brownies.
