This are easy and impressive. The prep time includes the after bake cooling and adding of the cocoa cream on each before completed cooling and refrigeration.

Ingredients

  • 24 - vanilla wafers
  • 16 ounces cream cheese
  • 1.25 cups sugar
  • 1/3 cup cocoa
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 3 - eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
  • - cherry pie filling

How To Make black forest cheese cupcakes

  • Step 1
    Heat oven to 325 degrees; line muffin pans with foil-laminated baking cups.
  • Step 2
    Place vanilla wafer on bottom of each.
  • Step 3
    In large mixer bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth.
  • Step 4
    Add sugar, cocoa and flour; blend well.
  • Step 5
    Add eggs, beat well, then stir in sour cream and almond extract.
  • Step 6
    Fill each prepared cup almost full with mixture and bake 20-25 minutes or until set.
  • Step 7
    Remove from oven; cool 5 to 10 minutes.
  • Step 8
    Spread heaping teaspoon of cocoa sour cream on each cup; cool completely in pans, then refrigerate.
  • Step 9
    Garnish with dollop of cherry pie filling just before serving - Refrigerate leftovers.
  • Step 10
    Cocoa Sour cream Topping: 1 cup sour cream, 1/4 cup sugar, 2 tablespoons cocoa.
  • Step 11
    Stir together ingredients in small bowl until sugar is dissolved.
