This are easy and impressive. The prep time includes the after bake cooling and adding of the cocoa cream on each before completed cooling and refrigeration.

How to Make Black Forest Cheese Cupcakes


  1. Heat oven to 325 degrees; line muffin pans with foil-laminated baking cups.
  2. Place vanilla wafer on bottom of each.
  3. In large mixer bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth.
  4. Add sugar, cocoa and flour; blend well.
  5. Add eggs, beat well, then stir in sour cream and almond extract.
  6. Fill each prepared cup almost full with mixture and bake 20-25 minutes or until set.
  7. Remove from oven; cool 5 to 10 minutes.
  8. Spread heaping teaspoon of cocoa sour cream on each cup; cool completely in pans, then refrigerate.
  9. Garnish with dollop of cherry pie filling just before serving - Refrigerate leftovers.
  10. Cocoa Sour cream Topping: 1 cup sour cream, 1/4 cup sugar, 2 tablespoons cocoa.
  11. Stir together ingredients in small bowl until sugar is dissolved.
