I JUST HAPPENED TO RUN ACROSS THIS RECIPE IN MY FILE. THIS IS A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT RECIPE THAT IS POSTED BY THE CLUB MEMBERS.

Ingredients

  • 1 box devil's food cake mix
  • 1 can 21 oz cherry pie filling
  • 1 tablespoon almond extract
  • 1 box 3.4oz french vanilla instant pudding
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla extract
  • 8 ounces small container of cool whip
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate desert sprinkles
  • 1 jar small jar of maraschino cherries

How To Make black forest cake

  • Step 1
    BAKE CAKE ACCORDING TO DIRECTIONS ON BACK OF BOX USING 9X13 PAN
  • Step 2
    MIX PIE FILLING AND ALMOND EXTRACT IN BOWL WHILE CAKE IS STILL WARM, POKE TOP WITH FORK AND SPREAD CHERRY FILLING OVER CAKE
  • Step 3
    WHILE CAKE IS COOLING, PREPARE PUDDING, ADDING VANILLA EXTRACT. FOLD IN COOL WHIP, SPREAD PUDDING MIXTURE OVER THE CHERRY FILLING (carefully)
  • Step 4
    DECORATE TOP WITH CHOCOLATE SPRINKLES AND CHERRIES COVER & REFRIGERATE
