bj's cream cheese pound cake

This is absolutely the best and easiest pound cake I have ever made. I usually make them 2 at a time. This recipe was given to me by a dear friend, BJ, who is now deceased. We have enjoyed this recipe for years...hope you do too!

Ingredients
- 1 box duncan hines butter recipe cake mix
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1/2 cup oil
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup water
How To Make bj's cream cheese pound cake

Step 1Beat all ingredients well with electric mixer. Beat well about 2 minutes or until smooth.

Step 2Pour batter into a bundt pan that has been greased and floured. I use butter and confectioner's sugar to prepare pan.

Step 3Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour until lightly browned. Cool in pan 10 minutes on rack. Then turn out onto cake plate and dust with confectioner's sugar.
