bisquick streusel coffee cake
This is a recipe from the makers of Bisquick. I made it as written but it was a little dry, and as you can see from my photo, it didn't have enough streusel topping! So I have re-written the recipe according to what other cooks said worked best!

Ingredients
- CINNAMON STREUSEL TOPPING
- 2/3 cup original bisquick mix
- 2/3 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 4 tablespoons firm butter
- COFFEE CAKE
- 2 cups original bisquick mix
- 2/3 cup milk
- 3 tablespoons white sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup apple sauce
How To Make bisquick streusel coffee cake

Step 1Heat oven to 375 degrees F. Grease 9-inch round pan. In small bowl, stir streusel ingredients until crumbly; set aside.

Step 2In medium bowl, mix coffee cake ingredients until blended. Spread in pan. Sprinkle with streusel.

Step 3Bake 18 to 22 minutes or until golden brown.

Step 4I added powdered sugar to mine, just as a garnish.
