Got someone you want to impress? Use this icing on a cake for their birthday or make them a cake and frost it with this frosting for their wedding. You can flavor/color it any way you'd like.

Ingredients For birthday/wedding cake icing

  • 6 c
    powdered sugar
  • 1 1/2 c
    crisco
  • 2/3 c
    milk
  • 2 Tbsp
    plain flour
  • 2 tsp
    wesson oil
  • 6
    drops vanilla extract
  • 1/8 tsp
    salt

How To Make birthday/wedding cake icing

  • 1
    Mix all ingredients listed in order given. Beat until smooth and creamy. You may need to add additional milk, if it is too thick. You can add food coloring to color it or add another flavor besides vanilla, too.
