You'll be adding Good Brandy or Good Rum to top when this cake come out of oven. Do not be shy with the Brandy or Rum, this is what makes this cake good.Then wrap it in cheese cloth.Then every 3 days, top it with more Brandy or rum. I use a real good Brandy. 1cut up fruit and nuts, put rasin's in boiling water and take off stove then let stand for 10 mins.drain good. then cool in refer. add 1/2 cup flour to fruit and nuts this keeps them in one place while cooking grease pan and flour it good
2then cream butter & sugar until fluffy, put in 3 eggs 3/4 c. flour then beat together real good add remaining 3 eggs and rest of flour and beat together real good then add fruit, fold in easy. You want flour to stay on fruit so while cooking the fruit won't sink to bottom of pan.
