This recipe was given to my mom over 40 years ago. It has stood the test of time and is still requested today.

Ingredients

  • 1 box
    yellow cake mix with pudding
  • 4
    eggs
  • 1/2 c
    oil
  • 1 c
    sour cream
  • 1
    square of baker's chocolate, shaved
  • 1/2 c
    granulated sugar
  • 1/2 c
    nuts, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp
    cinnamon

How to Make Beulah's Cake Recipe

Step-by-Step

  1. Spray springform or bundt pan with pam.
  2. Combine shaved chocolate, granulated sugar, chopped nuts & cinnamon. Sprinkle this mixture all around bottom of pan and sides, about 1/2 of the mixture.
  3. Mix cake mix with eggs, oil & sour cream. Then sprinkle in some of the nut mixture about 1/4 of this mixture, by cutting through with a knife.
  4. Pour in cake mix, then top with the rest of the nut mixture.
  5. Bake in a springform or bundt pan.
    Bake at 350 for atleast an hour, or until toothpick comes out clean.
