Ingredients
- 4 cups chopped apples or 6 child containers of apple sauce
- 1 cup chopped pecans/or what types of nuts you prefer
- 3/4 cup very good cooking oil (don't scrimp on the cost;it makes a difference in the taste)
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 teaspoon good vanilla flavoring
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- GLAZE FOR CAKE
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 2-4 tablespoons fresh lemon juice (depending on how thick or thin you like it)

Step 1Mix together oil, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Add apples or apple sauce and nuts and mix well. Sift dry ingredients together and add to the wet mixture. Pour into a greased and floured bundt pan. Bake in a 325 degree oven for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

Step 2Glaze: Mix together powdered sugar with a small amount of lemon juice and dizzle over the cooled cake.
