cream cheese, room temperature
1 tsp
baking powder
1 tsp
baking soda
1 tsp
vanilla extract
1 tsp
lemon extract
1 Tbsp
lemon zest, grated
1 tsp
yellow food coloring
1 tsp
butter flavoring
6 large
eggs

How to Make Best ever Pound cake

Step-by-Step

  • 1Preheat oven to 350 .Grease and flour bunt pan. cream together butter , cream cheese,& sugar,about 3 minutes or until smooth.Add your flavoring,color,&zest for 1 minute.In a seprate bowl mix together your dry ingredients,then add them to your butter mixture.While mixing add your eggs .Beat for 2 minutes.Pour into bunt pan . Please be aware that ovens may very Ive made this cake alot at different peoples houses sometimes your cake may take longer or shorter time .always use the toothpick method.
  • 2Alow cake to cool for 10 minutes then remove from pan .most people love this cake just like this .But I also make a lemon cornstarch sauce that is very popular as well.
