best ever chocolate cake
This cake is great for anyone who is allergic to eggs. It is hard to find cakes that taste good that do not use eggs. This one is delicious. It won first prize at the Topsfield Fair (in MA) back in the late 70s.

- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 6 tablespoons cocoa, unsweetened
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 12 tablespoons canola or vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
- 2 cups cold water
How To Make best ever chocolate cake

Step 1Sift dry ingredients into a large bowl. Make 3 holes

Step 2Put vanilla in one hole. Put the canola oil in another, and the vinegar in the last hole.

Step 3Pour cold water over top and mix well. Pour batter into a greased and floured 13x9-inch cake pan and bake at 350 degrees for approximately 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Allow to cool completely and frost as desired.
