My daughter is very picky. I make this every year for my daughter's birthday. She just requests it every year. She just loves it.

Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 sticks butter,unsalted
- 4 large eggs
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 3/4 cups all purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup cocoa powder
- - frosting:
- 14 tablespoons butter, unsalted at room temp.
- 1(8 oz) - cream cheese
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 16 ounces semisweet baking chocolate squers
- 2 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
How To Make best chocolate cake ever

Step 1In sauce pan bring the water to a boil,then turn off heat and whisk in the cocoa.Mix until smooth.Put aside and let it cool.In separate bowl mix together flour, baking soda,powder and salt,set aside.

Step 2Mix together butter, sugar,vanilla.Add eggs,one at the time,mix until fluffy.Alternately add the flour mixture and the cool cocoa mixture,until combine.

Step 3Prepare two 9 inch round cake pans (or any pan you prefer ,I made three different sizes square pans).

Step 4Bake in 350 degrees preheat oven,for 45 minutes,or until toothpick comes out clean.Cool completely.

Step 5For the frosting: melt the chocolate in a double boiler,stirring constantly.Cool.In a bowl mix together the confectioners'sugar and cocoa.Set aside.

Step 6In the mixer bowl,mix together the butter and cream cheese until fluffy. Add the confectioners' sugar mixture,sour cream and vanilla.

Step 7Slowly add the melted ,cool chocolate.Mix just until combine.

Step 8Split each layer of the cake in half.Spread frosting on top of each layer.Spread evenly on top and on the sides.Decorate.
