I got this recipe years ago and have been making them for all kind of picnics and gatherings...People love these. Just baked them for the church picnic and people were asking for the recipe today, I just decided to add this one because it is so rich and good....I hope everyone enjoys this one...

Ingredients
- 3/4 cup cocoa, unsweetened
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 6 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1/2 cup boiling water
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 - eggs
- 1 1/3 cups all purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 teaspoon salt

Step 1In a bowl combine cocoa, baking soda and salt. Blend in melted butter combine, add boiling water. stir until mixture thickens. Stir in sugar and eggs. Stir till smooth add vanilla, then flour. Blend completely..Add chocolate chips at the end..

Step 2Use a 9X13 pan. I like it with parchment paper. Bake at 350 for between 25 and 35 minutes. Check with toothpick to see when done. Cool and Ice...

Step 3Icing: 6 Tablespoons of butter melted, 1/2 cup of cocoa power unsweetened, 2 2/3 cups of confectioners sugar, 1/3 cup of milk, 1 Teaspoon Vanilla....Add cocoa to melted butter and vanilla, mix slowly add milk and sugar alternately beating after each addition. End with sugar and beat well. Ice brownies...ENJOY...These are the best brownies. I take them to gatherings and they all go. They are very rich and satisfying. I cut them up and put them in cupcake holders to make it easier to transport and people to pick up and just eat...
