Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 3 - eggs, at room temperature
- 1 cup salad oil
- 1 1/2 cups canned beets, sieved
- 2 - squares semisweet chocolate
- 1 3/4 cups flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 can cream cheese frosting
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
How To Make beet cake

Step 1Cream sugar, eggs and oil. Blend beets and melted chocolate together. Sift flour, baking soda and salt. Add all ingredients together and add vanilla extract.

Step 2Grease and dust with flour. Bake at 350F in 2 eight inch pans or 2 nine inch pans for 20-25 minutes. Let it cool.

Step 3Spread cream cheese frosting over cake. Sprinkle with walnuts.
