Pour batter into 9" x 5" x 3" loaf pan (other sizes would work--if using mini loaves bake approximately 30 minutes. Test with skewer or knife in middle until it comes out clean.
Sprinkle slivered almonds on top, if desired.
Bake approximately 45-50 minutes. May need more time.
Cool on rack for 10 minutes, remove from pan. Drizzle with cinnamon glaze, if desired.
