A nice way to use up ripe bananas. And only 7 ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 5 Tbsp
    butter or margarine
  • 1 c
    quick oats
  • 1 box
    9.9 oz. box of coconut pecan frosting mix
  • 4 medium
    bananas (mashed)
  • 4 medium
    eggs
  • 1 c
    milk
  • 1 box
    1.25 pound box yellow cake mix

How to Make Banana Surprise

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In medium pan,
    melt butter, add oatmeal and frosting mix.(Do not follow box directions). Mix until crumbly, set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, blend bananas, eggs & milk. Beat w/ mixer at medium speed for 1 min. Add yellow cake mix (do not follow box directions). Mix until well blended.
  3. Pour alternate layers of frosting mixture and cake mixture into greased bundt pan, starting and ending with frosting mixture.
    Press last layer down with spoon to moisten.
  4. Bake 1 hour. cool 15 minutes before removing from pan.

    HINT: for best results, use very ripe bananas.
