Banana Split Cake
3 stickbutter or magarine
2 cgraham crackers
2 cpowdered sugar
20 ozcan crushed pineapple
8 ozcontainer whipped topping
6maraschino cherries with juice, cut in half
6chopped pecans or walnuts chopped. nuts and cherries are up to individual for garnish and appeal.
How to Make Banana Split Cake
- Mix 1 stick of butter or margarine with 2 cups of graham cracker crumbs. Pat into bottom of 13x8x2 inch pan; set aside.
- Blend in mixer for 15 minutes, no less: 2 sticks butter, powdered sugar and eggs. Drain crushed pineapple; fold into mixture and spread over crust. Slice bananas on top. Cover with whipped topping. Sprinkle with nuts and cherries. Drizzle cherry juice for looks. Refrigerate. Better if made a day ahead.
