banana split cake
A little bit of all flavors of a banana split. Can use 12 oz jar chocolate fudge ice cream topping and heat it till warm and drizzle on cake.On this cake I used chocolate icing.

Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, room temperature
- 3 - eggs
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 - bananas
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup strawberry preserves
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder plus 2 tablespoons of sugar
How To Make banana split cake

Step 1Grease tube pan. In a bowl stir together the flour,baking powder,salt and baking soda. set aside.

Step 2In a large bowl beat butter about 30 seconds.Add sugar and beat until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time,beating well after each one.

Step 3In another bowl mash the bananas with a potato masher and combine with ,sour cream ,milk oil and vanilla

Step 4Alternately add flour mixture and banana mixture to butter mixture,beating on low speed after each addition just until combined.

Step 5Stir strawberry preserves into 1 cup of the batter. Also stir cocoa powder mixed with 2 tablespoons of sugar into another 1 cup of the batter.

Step 6Spoon half the remaining plain batter into greased tube pan.Spoon strawberry batter over the plain batter. On top of strawberry batter spoon with remaining plain batter.And last spoon on the chocolate batter.(mine was thicker so I spread it around in the middle of the plain batter.)

Step 7Bake at 350 degrees oven for 55 to 65 minutes. After it has cooled ice cake to your taste.You can also leave it plain or use sift powder sugar on cake.
