I was bored with making banana pudding which I get a lot of requests for, but this recipe cured that boredom!

Ingredients

- 1 package 18.25oz plain yellow cake mix
- 1 stick butter, melted
- 1 cup whole milk
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- - for pudding
- 1 package 5.1 oz vanilla instant pudding mix
- 3 cups whole milk
- 1/2 stick butter,cut up
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 4 cups sliced banana's( about 3 banana's)
- - for topping
- 1 12oz packages whipped topping
- 1/2 cup vanilla wafer crumbs9 about 12 cookies)
How To Make banana pudding cake

Step 1Place cake mix,butter milk eggs and vanilla in mixing bowl,blend with electric mixer for 1 min. on low. Increase speed to med. and beat 2 min.batter should be thick and well blended, pour into greased 13 by 9-inch pan, place in oven, bake for 35 min.cake should be GOLDEN brown.

Step 2while cake is baking; place pudding mixand milk in saucepan, fold in butter and vanilla, cook over low heat til butter melts, remove from heat,let cool, fold in banana slices.

Step 3Spoon pudding&banana mixture on top of cooled cake, cover the pudding with the whipped topping, sprinkle the vanilla wafers over the top.
