Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups shortening
- 2 1/2 cups sugar
- 4 - eggs
- 6 - mashed bananas
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- - pinch salt
- 3 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
How To Make banana pound cake

Step 1preheat oven to 300 degrees. spray bundt pan with cooking spray, or 2 loaf pans

Step 2cream shortening and sugar. add eggs one at a time mixing well after each.

Step 3add bananas, mix well

Step 4add other ingredients and mix on medium speed of mixer 2 minutes.

Step 5pour batter into prepared pan (s) filling only half full

Step 6bake 1 1/2 hours

Step 7may drizzle with a glaze of your choice which is optional. may add 3/4 cup chopped nuts.
