banana nut bars with cream cheese frosting
Have this recipe as a cake but I always make it into bars instead. cupcakes would be good too.

Ingredients
- CAKE
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon ( the origional recipe calls for 1 tsp but i find that was to much for my liking)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 - eggs, beaten
- 3/4 cup vegetable oil
- 4 large ripe banana, mashed
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
- CREAM CHEESE FROSTING
- 8 ounces package cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 3 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
How To Make banana nut bars with cream cheese frosting

Step 1preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter and flour desired pan or pans. I use a bar pan. or you can use a 9x13 if you want a cake, or round pans or cupcake pan.

Step 2Stir together flour, sugar, soda, cinnamon and salt. Add the eggs and oil. Stir just until the dry ingredents are moistened.Do not beat Stir in bananas, vanilla and pecans

Step 3pour into prepared pan or pans Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until toothpic comes out clean. If using round pans, let cool for 10 minutes before turning out onto wire cooling rack. Cool completely before frosting To make frosting, beat butter, cream cheese, powdered sugar and vanilla. Fold in pecans
