My grand daughter,age 5 loves to cook. She made this easy and yummy favorite(she does everything but the electric mixing) You too will FLIP over this easy,cool, and delicious dessert!Great for a summer dinner party or family get together.

Ingredients

BANANA FLIP CAKE

1 box
prepared yellow cake mix
4 medium
over ripe bananas- mashed
2 tsp
baking soda

TOPPING

16 oz
cool whip
3.5 0Z box
instant banana pudding
1/2 c
coarse chopped walnuts

How to Make BANANA FLIP CAKE

Step-by-Step

  • 1LIGHTLY GREASE AND FLOUR 9X13 CAKE PAN
  • 2PREPARE YELLOW CAKE MIX ACCORDING TO THE PACKAGE DIRECTIONS.
  • 3MASH BANANAS THOUGHLY WITH THE BAKING SODA
  • 4GENTLY STIR THE BANANA MIXTURE INTO THE CAKE BATTER,BLEND WELL
  • 5POUR MIXTURE INTO CAKE PAN , TAP PAN ON COUNTER TO REMOVE AIR BUBBLES
  • 6PLACE PAN INTO A COLD OVEN, TURN TEMPERATURE TO 350 DEGREES AND BAKE TILL TOOTHPICK COMES OUT CLEAN APPROX. 50-60 MINUTES.
  • 7REMOVE FROM OVEN AND COOL COMPLETELY ON RACK THEN REFRIDGERATE
  • 8TOPPING
  • 9STIR 1 SMALL BOX INSTANT BANANA PUDDING INTO 1 MEDIUM CONTAINER OF THAWED COOL WHIP. MIX WELL WITH A WISK. DO NOT OVER MIX
  • 10SPREAD EVENLY OVER COOLED CAKE-KEEP IT FLUFFY-
    SPRINKLE WITH CHOPPED NUTS
    REFRIDGERATE UNTILL SERVED.
