My grand daughter,age 5 loves to cook. She made this easy and yummy favorite(she does everything but the electric mixing) You too will FLIP over this easy,cool, and delicious dessert!Great for a summer dinner party or family get together.

Ingredients

  • BANANA FLIP CAKE
  • 1 box prepared yellow cake mix
  • 4 medium over ripe bananas- mashed
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • TOPPING
  • 16 ounces cool whip
  • 3.5 0Z boxes instant banana pudding
  • 1/2 cup coarse chopped walnuts

How To Make banana flip cake

  • Step 1
    LIGHTLY GREASE AND FLOUR 9X13 CAKE PAN
  • Step 2
    PREPARE YELLOW CAKE MIX ACCORDING TO THE PACKAGE DIRECTIONS.
  • Step 3
    MASH BANANAS THOUGHLY WITH THE BAKING SODA
  • Step 4
    GENTLY STIR THE BANANA MIXTURE INTO THE CAKE BATTER,BLEND WELL
  • Step 5
    POUR MIXTURE INTO CAKE PAN , TAP PAN ON COUNTER TO REMOVE AIR BUBBLES
  • Step 6
    PLACE PAN INTO A COLD OVEN, TURN TEMPERATURE TO 350 DEGREES AND BAKE TILL TOOTHPICK COMES OUT CLEAN APPROX. 50-60 MINUTES.
  • Step 7
    REMOVE FROM OVEN AND COOL COMPLETELY ON RACK THEN REFRIDGERATE

    TOPPING

    STIR 1 SMALL BOX INSTANT BANANA PUDDING INTO 1 MEDIUM CONTAINER OF THAWED COOL WHIP. MIX WELL WITH A WISK. DO NOT OVER MIX
  • Step 10
    SPREAD EVENLY OVER COOLED CAKE-KEEP IT FLUFFY- SPRINKLE WITH CHOPPED NUTS REFRIDGERATE UNTILL SERVED.
